Sunday in Amsterdam

Between hectic apartment searching, job searching and soul searching we have to get some air every now and again, right?
really, in the past 3 weeks we have mostly been in front of the computer- just searching and searching.
Google is our best friend lately.
but on Sunday I just had to get my mind off things and clear my head.
So we heard from a friend there was a market on each first Sunday of the month. It seemed there were many  locals there but the atmosphere was like a festival; there were many kiosks offering various cuisines, a lot of art and design and some music too. If only it was a little bit warmer it would have been perfect!

Late New Year's Wishes

I hadn't got the chance to post my outfit for New Year's until now, it's been a very busy weekend and a very good one too; we partied with some good friends and that can't fail I suppose:)

So I decided not to wear the obvious sequin/shiny ensemble for New Year's eve. To tell you the truth I am a bit sick of that trend really, therefore I decided to wear this playful playsuit that I got a while ago from Asos and I combined it with a vintage faux fur coat I got at a thrift store in London  a decade (!) ago, which I never get tired of and will probably stay with me forever. 

so even though I'm a little late- have a happy new year everyone!

Party Time!

Yesterday me and my friends had a party. It's the second time we've had one this year and it's really cool we got to do it on this rare date- 11.11.11. We had some 400 people coming and it was incredible! especially for the occasion I added a few of my girlfriends to the shoot and we had the best time, everyone was really into it, we had some wine and danced and fooled around...and after that we headed on to the party. needless to say we were all very drunk by the end of the night so it's really good we had these photos taken beforehand so we can have something to remember this evening by:)

Holiday Cheers

This week was all about changes- a new year is starting just in time. 

the air has become a little less hot and everyone started feeling slightly more festive; I love this time in a year. 

Plus we made a big change by moving to the suburbs! It is definitely a huge change for a city girl like me but hey, there are some perks, for instance, I now have a back yard, which is where I took these photos of my holiday outfit, reminding me of the fall that is on its way. 

I wish everyone a happy new year, full of changes, adventures and learning.
